Seneschal
With Samhain against Crown Tourney we decided
to cancel Samhain for Nov 3rd.
Exchequer
We have 768.48.
Chatelaine
Been getting interest from the Bhakail feedback
page - a couple of college students.
Web Mininster
We have a website.
Suba says she still owes the minutes
from last month.
Note - canton meeting page needs directions.
Yahoo group notice could use an address
as well.
Herald
Heraldry workshop is 2pm-until hosts
are tired every third Sunday of the month. This month will be on Sep
16th. Anything you want to work on as long as it's heraldry-related.
MOAS
A&S Night on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays
of every month from 7pm - 10pm at Lady Elenora's except the 3rd Thurs
which will be a cooking workshop as follows:
Cooking workshop to help prepare dayboard for coronation will be on Thursday
September 20th from 7pm-10pm at the Gallowglass home.
Bellydancing classes stopped for the
summer. Considering re-starting for fall.
Bhakail Garb workshops are moved to
2nd and 4th Tuesday nights in nearby Clifton Heights. Lots of people
attend. There is only one more garb workshops before Pennsic.
Brewer's Guild meets 2nd Wednesdays
at rotating locations - periodically it meets in the canton.
There is a class at the home of Deiniol
and Damiana on making fire in the ancient ways at 7:30pm on Monday September
17th taught by Pat Fulsom. Chamberlain
We have stuff.
Chronicler
The first issue of the new run of In
a Nutshell will be published by the middle of October, being the start
of the 4th quarter. This issue will
focus on A&S.
Anyone with anything they would like to have published please contact
the Chronicler in some manner for inclusion in the newsletter. Martial Activities
Fencing is over for the spring and will resume in the fall.
Thrown weapons practice is on 1st, 3rd,
and 5th Tuesdays starting starting at 6pm until too dark to throw.
Fighting practice is in Bhakail and
going strong on Thursday nights; contact Lord Darmon. Can also contact
the Caer Adamant marshal.
Archery in Delaware at Padraig's is
the 2nd and 4th sundays and fighter practice is also held. Archery in
Hartshorndale in Limerick.
Caer Adamant has a fighter practice
on Delaware City on Sunday 16th. Sunday the 23rd fighter practice is
at Padraig's.
Hartshorndale has a regular archery
practice as well.

Committees
Tavern Event under consideration.
We have a VFW site on tap that looks promising. We are targeting
late
February. Bad puns abound: "Grab
your nuts and come." We'd like to combine this with the dance
event assuming we have space. Shannon and Cat have volunteered
to co-autocrat.
Samhain Nov 3:
Cancelled.
Old Business
Plans to inquire to Kingdom about
graduating from incipiency about 6 months from now.
Dance practice plans have no progress
at this time.

Comments for the Good
of the Canton
The next meeting is scheduled
for Thursday, October 11th, 2007 at 7:30pm at Middletown Free Library.
Coronation is Sep 29th in Delaware.
Anyone available to help set up on site at 8am will be gratefully
welcomed
and served a continental breakfast.
Red Hat demo is Sep 30th in Delaware.
At the last Barony meeting the
current B&B started accepting bids
for incoming B&B. Lord Bryan and Lady Alesia put in a bid. Lady
Judith the Confused also put in a bid for B.
