Canton Meeting Minutes

Wednesday October 26, 2005

Present-William Graham, Eleanora the Tilemaker, Deiniol, Marcus Mathiou.
Called to order at 7:36 PM.

Officers' Reports

Seneschal's report

Zip Codes--Still a debate over zip codes. Three plans have been proposed.
1) Cut off Northern most part of canton
2) Remove 19061 Boothwyn (I have a lot of connections there and don't want to lose it.)
3) Annex Chester County. (Their Excellencies don't like this plan.)

Membership--Need to get more members. Maybe do a video for the demos.
Need to follow up leads and have a monthly get-together.

Beltaine--Need a planning meeting. Envision something like a live action role-playing. Everyone is given coins and can challenge others to a fencing duel for coins. Brewer's guide is ready to do classes.

Herald's report
Taught a class at the Mensa meeting in October. Will be teaching a class at Schola in November.

Finance committee
Pole expense will come from left-over Pennsic camp fees.

Marshall activities
Last thrown weapons practice is tomorrow.

MOAS report
Baldrics have been made for Mensa and schola classes.
Tuesdays are A&S night at my house.
Possibly organize a mead class.
