Canton Meeting Minutes

Wednesday September 28, 2005

Present-William Graham, Eleanora the Tilemaker, Deiniol, Marcus Mathiou.
Called to order at 7:40 PM.

Officers' Reports

Seneschal's report

Need more aggressive recuitment
Still concerns over Zip codes. They were already approved by Kingdom Seneschal. We need to clear it up once and for all.

Beltaine
Spoke with Arasapha farms. He wants us in May next year for Beltaine.
Need a Beltaine committee. Need exact date. Watch out for Crown tourney, Dover days, Middletown pride day.

Everyone, get your reports in on time.

I am accepting applications for Deputy Seneschal and Exchequer.

We should try to arrange a once-a-month garbed get-together, especially in the colder months.

Need to hold off on full status until we have more members.

Exchequer's report

No change, still at $1032.56

Chatelaine's report

No demos planned.

Herald's report

Nothing since Pennsic. Report was submitted. I'll be teaching at upcoming demo at the Mensa meeting in October. Will be teaching a class at Schola in November.

MOAS Report

Garb workshop on Tuesdays, lightly attended.
Bardic circle on Mondays.

Making Baldrics for Mensa demo and Schola.

We need new larger barony sized banner for the canton. Need to get costs.

Offers from two libraries available for dance practice.

Marshall event reports

Archery status, travel to Caer Adamant, sometimes Cynon hosts a shoot.
Thrown Weapons, every Thursday until too daylight savings time ends.
Fencing, investigating Rogues Den or Indian Lane.

Chamberlain's report

Need poles for fly. Need to get specifications from Del.
