The Canton of An Gleann nam Feòrag Dhuibhe (pronounced uhn glown nam feaw-ree-kuh du-eev-uh) is the Media, PA chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, known as the SCA, dedicated to researching and recreating many aspects of medieval life and times.

Our name means "The Valley of the Black Squirrel", named after a species indigenous to this region of the United States. We are part of the Barony of Bhakail (which covers the grater Philadelphia area) which in turn is part of the East Kingdom in the SCA.

Whether you're looking to see what medieval dance is like, try your hand at illumination or calligraphy, don armor and fight or fence, let loose some arrows at a range or see the differences and similarities in medieval cooking, we hope you choose to spend some time with us. Any and all of the gatherings listed below are open to all who are interested, without cost or reservation required.

Current recurring activities in the Canton:

1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays: Lady Jane's Dance Practice 7-9pm at Indian Lane Elementary
1st Wednesdays: Barony Meeting (see www.bhakail.eastkingdom.org)
1st and 3rd Thursdays: A&S Night 7pm-9pm at the home of Eleanora
2nd Thursday: Canton Meeting 7:30-9pm at the Middletown Free Library
